Easterly view from Campbelltown
Had a few spare minutes while meeting at the Grange the other day, and the clouds were making nice photos. They've had a bit of rain, which has been very welcome. However, the grass is very thin, and is not going to grow enough in this Tasmanian upland winter. These people need warm Spring rains.

Belle Brandon Sinks!
This morning the Belle Brandon can be seen resting on the shallow bottom of the Huon River at Franklin. It was floating last night, and I briefly considered taking a photo of it then. My mother-in-law has a lovely painting of this ketch, done by her sister. I understand it is thought to be the second oldest boat in Tasmania.
Here it is recently, in better shape.
